Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s Improv Comedy Troupe Holds Auditions

The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Theatre Program will hold auditions for the new improvisational comedy troupe called Die Laughing. The group was formed in fall 2013 and hosts performances at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ and tours high schools to inspire future students to pursue performing arts.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students and members of the public are invited to audition for Die Laughing. No experience is necessary. Auditions are 3-6 p.m., Jan. 12 at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Southeast Campus PACE classroom 6103.
Die Laughing performed its first improv comedy show in December at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ to a sold-out audience. The live audience participation comedy show is filled with sketches and games and features Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students and members of the public. The next show is 8 p.m., May 5 at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Southeast Campus Performing Arts Center for Education (PACE) Studio Theatre.
The improv comedy troupe is under the direction of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Theatre Director Mark Frank and his wife, Bethanie Frank. The couple has 19 years of experience with a similar group at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.
