Rose Lynch
50th Anniversary Notable Alumni. A first-generation college student, Rose enrolled at Â鶹´«Ã½ at the age of 37 where she excelled. In fact, at the age of 40 she won the Jack Kent Cook Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, the largest and most prestigious community college transfer scholarship in the United States, of up to $120,000 for three years of study.

Â鶹´«Ã½ Student Receives $500 for 2019 Holiday Card Design
Caleh Trexler studied art in high school and college before switching majors and transferring to Â鶹´«Ã½. Now a Music major, she used her artistic background to enter the student design competition for the 2019 Â鶹´«Ã½ Holiday Card after seeing social media posts and flyers on campus about entering. Each year, the call for entries is open to any Â鶹´«Ã½ student to submit a design and one is selected as the annual Â鶹´«Ã½ Holiday card.
