Volunteer with Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Wellness Services to promote student well-being and make a positive impact on the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ community.

Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB)

Students on the Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB) will provide feedback as well as advocate for the health and wellness of all Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students.

SWAB meets virtually once a month during the Fall and Spring semester. All students are welcome and receive an hour for Tulsa Achieves.

Wellness Advocates

Looking to earn volunteer hours and make a difference? Join Wellness Advocates! This flexible opportunity lets you support student wellness by helping with events, sharing resources, and raising awareness about health topics across the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ community.

Peer Health Education Program Scholarship

The primary role of a Peer Health Educator (PHE) is to develop and implement health education and awareness programs with the goal of improving the long-term healthy behaviors of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students. Health education topics include stress management, healthy sleep habits, mental health, sexual health, alcohol and drug prevention, suicide prevention, healthy relationships and more. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Âé¶¹´«Ã½ student
  • Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA
  • Interested in health and wellness
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Must be in good conduct standing with Âé¶¹´«Ã½
  • Support the goals, expectations, and mission of Wellness Services and Âé¶¹´«Ã½
  • Be able to commit approximately 3 hours per week

The scholarship application process opens each Spring semester.
