  2. 鶹ý Student Becomes First Enhanced Air Traffic Control Graduate Hired by FAA

    鶹ý’s Rebecca Nobles became the first graduate of an Enhanced Air Traffic Control program in the United States to be hired directly by the Federal Aviation Administration. Nobles bypassed the traditional FAA Academy thanks to 鶹ý’s participation in the FAA’s Enhanced Air Traffic–Collegiate Training Initiative.

  3. Graduate and 6-Year-Old Daughter Compete at 鶹ý Robotics Event

    Students and hobbyists faced off in “Discovery Destruction,” a combat robotics tournament hosted by Tulsa Community Combat Robotics and Combat Robots of Oklahoma. Among the competitors was father-daughter duo, recent 鶹ý graduate Kody Fimple and his 6-year-old daughter, Masyn.

  4. Students Explore Renewable Energy at 鶹ý’s Hands-On STEM Academy

    Oklahoma high school students participated in 鶹ý’s Summer STEM Academy, focusing on solar energy through hands-on projects like building mini solar-powered vehicles. Students gained valuable experience working with 鶹ý faculty, exploring renewable energy concepts, and collaborating on design challenges.

  5. Vet Tech Student Honored with Posthumous Degree, Memorial Scholarship

    The Michelle “Misha” Buzlea Memorial Scholarship was established by the Buzlea family to honor the memory of their daughter, Misha, a 鶹ý Veterinary Technology student who passed away in January 2025. The scholarship supports future Vet Tech students who show determination, compassion, and a commitment to animal care—qualities that defined Misha’s life and work.
