  3. 鶹ý Names T.W. Shannon as 2017 Commencement Speaker

    Former Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives T.W. Shannon will deliver the keynote address at the 47th annual 鶹ý Commencement Ceremony. Shannon was the first Chickasaw and first African-American to become Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2013 and the youngest at the age of 34.

  5. Using Art to Provide Better Patient Care

    A new approach at 鶹ý blends art into academic learning with students in 14 Health Sciences programs such as Nursing, Respiratory Care, and Occupational Therapy. The program, being developed for 鶹ý called Visual Thinking Strategies, will be used by 鶹ý Health Sciences faculty and incorporated into the teaching curriculum in 鶹ý Health Sciences courses.
